| Industrial production up by 0.6% MoM in euro area, EU in Aug

- The seasonally-adjusted industrial production rose by 0.6 per cent month on month in both the euro area and the EU in August this year, according to Eurostat estimates.
- Industrial production decreased by 5.1 per cent year on year (YoY) in the euro area and by 4.4 per cent YoY in the EU in the same month.
- It fell by 1.3 per cent in both the zones in July.
