Kraig Biocraft has selected Julie Bishop for its expanded board of directors. Bishop currently serves as the senior director of global accounting at Verizon Media and has held senior accounting positions at Yahoo and HD Waterworks. Prior to this, Bishop spent seven years serving as an auditor for publicly traded companies while working at Ernst & Young.

The addition of Bishop to the board will expand the overall skillset, perspective, and experience necessary to support and drive growth for all of the company’s stakeholders. Bishop is a licensed C.P.A with extensive experience in finance and auditing for publicly traded companies. Bishop’s term will begin during the fourth quarter and she will serve on the audit and compensation committees for the duration of her time as a director, according to Kraig.
