Lackluster business supports lower Asian benzene prices

Benzene prices went down in Asia in the last week due to lackluster business activity in the region.
In Korea, average prices moved down by US$ 35/ton and assessed at US$ 735/ton in the last week, a reduction of 4.55 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In Japan, average prices decreased by US$ 35/ton to US$ 740/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a fall of 4.52 per cent.
In India, average prices reduced by US$ 35/ton and quoted at US$ 745/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a decrease of 4.49 per cent.
