The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province recently inaugurated the first phase of the Becamex Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) Binh Dinh complex, marking a significant milestone in south-central Vietnam.

With a massive investment of $304 million (VND7.5 trillion), the industrial park commenced operations three years after its construction began.

Chairman of the national assembly, Vuong Dinh Hue, and deputy prime minister Tran Hong Ha graced the opening ceremony with their presence.

Situated in Canh Vinh Commune under Van Canh District, the Becamex Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Binh Dinh complex spans over 1,370 hectares, encompassing industrial, urban, and service zones.

This strategic venture is poised to catalyse socio-economic growth within the province.

Pham Anh Tuan, chairman of the provincial administration, highlighted ongoing efforts to construct a connecting road between national highway 19 and the industrial park, anticipating a surge in firm and investor interest.

Tuan reaffirmed Binh Dinh Province’s commitment to facilitating a conducive environment for project completion and business operations.

Deputy prime minister Ha expressed optimism regarding the park’s potential as a nexus for research, technological innovation, and education.
