Optimistic trend pushes up Asian propylene prices

Propylene prices surged in Asia in the last week due to optimistic buying trend in the region.
In Korea, average prices increased by US$ 25/ton to US$ 835/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a rise of 3.09 per cent.
In Japan, average prices moved up by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 820/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a hike of 1.23 cent.
In SE Asia, average prices soared by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 755/ton in the last week, an increment of 2.03 per cent compared to previous week.
In China, average prices improved by US$ 40/ton to US$ 880/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after an advancement of 4.76 per cent.
