| Pakistan's cotton arrivals skyrocket by over 72% in 2023-24

- During the 2023-24 marketing year, Pakistan experienced a surge in cotton arrivals to 83.93 lakh bales, up 72.16 per cent YoY.
- Early sowing and favourable weather conditions led to increased arrivals starting from July 2023.
- Sindh province saw arrivals of 41.14 lakh bales, up 118 per cent, while Punjab recorded 42.78 lakh bales by February 29, 2024.
