Propylene price shows mixed movement in Asia last week

Propylene prices soared in Japan and SE Asia in the last week due to limited stock of product in the region.
In Japan, average prices went up by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 825/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, an increase of 0.61 per cent.
In SE Asia, average prices inched higher by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 775/ton in the last week, an improvement of 2.65 per cent compared to previous week.
Propylene prices declined in Korea and China in the last week due to dull regional buying interest in the region.
In Korea, average prices decreased by US$ 10/ton to US$ 825/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a reduction of 1.20 per cent.
In China, average prices stepped down by US$ 5/ton to US$ 875/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a fall of 0.57 per cent.
