Sluggish buying lowers PTA prices in Asi

PTA prices went down in Asia in the last week due to sluggish regional buying trends.

In FE Asia, average prices marched lower by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 635/ton in the last week, a drop of 0.78 per cent as compared to previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices plunged by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 655/ton in the last week, a reduction of 0.76 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
