- In the first quarter of 2024, US saw a significant increase in textile and apparel imports, recording a 10.86 per cent growth to 21,774.314 million SME, driven by a 14.81 per cent surge in textile imports.
- Apparel imports rose by 1.48 per cent.
- Exports of textiles and apparel declined by 4.42 per cent, with notable reductions in apparel and fabric exports.
