Weak buying interest pulls down Asian PX prices

Paraxylene prices moved down in Asia in the last week due to weak buying interest in the region.
In Korea, average prices decreased by US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 755/ton in the last week, a reduction of 3.21 per cent compared to previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices reduced by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 765/ton in the last week, showing a drop of 2.55 per cent over previous week.
In Taiwan, average prices inched lower by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 780/ton in the last week, registering a fall of 2.50 per cent from the previous week.
