25 Mar 22 1 min read
This GOTS certification certifies NOBO’s chemistry formulation and production processes meet the required ecological and social global sustainability criteria. It also affirms NOBO is an ecologically and socially responsible product with no adverse effects to the ecosystem or biodiversity throughout its lifecycle, the company said in a media release.
Specifically formulated to reduce odour in natural and synthetic fabrics, NOBO adsorbs compounds responsible for body odour without the use of an antimicrobial.
“Achieving GOTS Certification for NOBO is a testament to our emphasis on sustainability during product development,” said Sciessent CEO, Paul C Ford. “We want to ensure every product we release adheres not only to our own company values, but to the requirements necessary for a more eco-friendly industry.”
In addition to being GOTS certified, NOBO is also Bluesign approved and listed on the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Foundation ZDHC Gateway, complying with ZDHC Level 3 requirements.
