Browzwear & Beproduct partner to bring 3D and PLM together

26 Feb 19 2 min read

Browzwear, provider of 3D solutions for fashion design, development and merchandising, has formed partnership with Beproducts, the management solution behind some of fashion’s biggest technology install bases. The new partnership will bring best of 3D and design-oriented PLM into a single system and make Beproduct assets automatically available in Browzwear.

Users can now access assets stored in Beproduct such as fabrics, trims, seam libraries, from Browzwear applications, said Browzwear in a media statement. With real-time sync, assets and tags will seamlessly update between the two platforms for an improved user experience.

The integration makes it easier for designers to access and use the assets they need, and for brands to control which designers have access to which assets for their work, thereby closing the loop in an end-to-end workflow management process.

In addition, Beproduct will provide full support for the U3M standard with all material characteristics required for extremely technical 3D design, alteration, sample evaluation and other areas being accessible through an in-solution U3M app.

“At Beproduct, we believe in putting control back in the hands of creatives who have been less served by traditional enterprise PLM systems, so integrating with the leading, open 3D platform made perfect sense for us and our users,” said Daniel Pak, Beproduct CEO. “We know that designers and product teams stand to benefit in a huge way from intuitive, powerful 3D tools, and an integrated approach to 3D and PLM is already unlocking real, measurable value for brands and retailers - from product design to marketing.”

“As partners in the U3M alliance, we’re committed to delivering the most seamless 3D and PLM experience through open standards,” said Sharon Lim, Browzwear CEO. “Working closely with Beproduct enables transparent synchronisation between material libraries and product data held in Beproduct, and every part of the Browzwear ecosystem.”

“We see Browzwear as being at the forefront of 3D adoption and innovation in apparel, and we’re proud to have established a partnership that brings the best of 3D and the best of design-oriented PLM into a single system,” added Pak. (PC)
