Inspectorio merges lab test data into AI-driven platform

Inspectorio has expanded its offerings to allow users to visualise laboratory tests in a central dashboard. Apparel brands, retailers, vendors, manufacturers, and third-party inspection companies can now monitor and share their laboratory test results alongside purchase order information within a central dashboard on the Inspectorio network platform.

“Our clients want Inspectorio to become a bigger part of their quality management system in order to get a holistic view of their inspection history and to have greater visibility into their supply chains,” said Carlos Moncayo Castillo, Inspectorio co-founder and CEO. “It’s crucial for them to have as much information as possible in one place to make faster and more informed decisions at the time of booking. It is equally important for the inspector to have this information at the time of the inspection.”

Inspectorio has redefined the once-analog inspection process into a digital interface that uses a proactive and predictive AI-driven algorithm that allows companies to optimise immediate results and realise greater connectivity and transparency in the production chain. The Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) network platform was created to enhance production chain collaboration, visibility, and predictive intelligence for brands, retailers, and suppliers.

Laboratory test results are automatically integrated from the third-party laboratory or the brand or retailer’s internal Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Users can use a single dashboard to quickly determine whether lab tests have been conducted, review the results of the tests, and then share that information with customers and suppliers. Users can attach supplemental materials associated with test results, such as images, PDFs, spreadsheets, or zipped files.

In the platform’s purchase order management page, the laboratory test results are displayed with a visual icon, allowing users quickly track and monitor test status. This allows companies more visibility to make more efficient decisions regarding whether to request corrective action or waive the results.

Inspectorio, the global quality and sustainability verification network platform, allows users to gather key information, such as who requested the laboratory test, which organisation created it, where and when it was performed, what was the final test rating, among others.

“At Inspectorio, we are constantly looking for ways to streamline our clients’ production planning,” Moncayo said. “Making more data available to track on the Inspectorio platform improves production chain efficiency and speed to market. This lab testing data will also help Inspectorio improve our machine-learning algorithms to detect the risk level of an inspection.”
