Under this year’s motto ‘May You Live In Interesting Times’, Intex Consulting GmbH, will be presenting many developments and expert solutions for textile manufacturers at ITMA Barcelona in hall 8.1, booth A115 from June 20-26. Headquartered in Wuppertal, Intex is an international software company with an exclusive dedication to textile producing industry.

Intex Consulting’s focus lies in optimising processes and increasing efficiency in production and administration by implementing the standard software solutions Intex ERP and MES – from the office to the machine, according to a press release by the company. The holistic view and digital representation of the textile manufacturing and sales processes lead to short implementation and payback times.

As a superior system, Intex can be optimally integrated into the existing software system landscape with intelligent solutions for sales, purchasing, warehousing, maintenance, quality management, production planning and control, intercompany management and much more via various interfaces. By integrating automation solutions along the process chain, Intex forms the digital backbone for the realisation of Industry 4.0. The digital transformation of textile producers with short amortisation periods and tangible, economically reasonable concepts are being made possible by Intex.

Recently the company opened its fifth office in Bursa, Turkey. The new office is currently staffed by three permanent employees and will be organically expanded over the next few years. The textile market of Turkey is one of the largest and most forward-looking markets for textile production and serves as a link between Asia and Europe despite the country’s temporary economic difficulties. The company expects its penetration of the Turkish market to open a new, resilient base in the international organisation.

In July 2018, the management of Intex Consulting, founded in 1995, has been extended by a second chief executive officer. In addition to the company founder, Bastian Schneider, Intex is now also represented by Lukas Hartmann as second CEO. This is an important step in supporting not only the digital transformation of customers, but also the future of the company. Competence and motivation lie in the double leadership, to better meet the requirements of the various sales markets. (PC)
