Daniele Niboli chooses Fulgar's Q-nova for SS2020

Fulgar, an international leader in the production of new-concept man-made fibres, was chosen for its Q-nova yarns by Daniele Niboli for his new SS 2020 collection in Milan Fashion Week 2019, which was held last month. Q-nova by Fulgar, is an eco-friendly fibre obtained from regenerated raw materials through a mechanical, not chemical, process.

Q-nova has already obtained a series of green certifications including Global Recycled Standard and Ecolabel EU. Q-nova is now also listed on the Higg Index, which was developed by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) to assess the environmental impact of a garment's entire lifecycle.

Niboli's eclectic garments celebrated the evocative atmosphere of southern Spain, a mix of fabrics and combinations that paid tribute to sustainability in a perfect balance of creativity and quality. Fulgar was chosen among others as a partner to provide exclusive, sustainable Made in Italy products to Niboli. The encounter with Fulgar and the brand's green portfolio had led to the development of some of the fabrics made with innovative fibres recovered from low environmental impact yarns like the ultralight black Jersey made with Q-nova and used in the production of stockings and tights with devour satin pattern.
