Water-saving yarn range, SGC cotton yarn from Varvaressos

Greece-based yarn maker Varvaressos has developed a water-saving yarn range, thanks to a pioneering satellite-powered drip irrigation system using Israeli technologies and expertise in water management, according to its chief executive officer Argirios Sarridis, who said the company combines advanced technology, experience and human skills.
The company’s new premium cotton yarn collection, Supreme Green Cotton (SGC), saves water, is free of transgenic material and is cent per cent traceable, he told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
