To become a skilled knit technician it takes many years of practice and working in a manufacturing environment. To become a skilled technical knit designer you need to have a vast understanding of knitwear process and constructions. This workshop has been designed to enhance technical skills of designers working with knitwear. You will get first-hand experience on knitting machines and step into the shoes of a technician to develop programs. Learn the basics of machine handling and set-up, be introduced to knit design software and create basic programs ready for knitting, jerseys, ribs and jacquards.
