Asian propylene prices show mixed undertone last week

In Japan and SE Asia, average prices stepped up in the last week due to optimistic buying indications in the market.
In Japan, average prices jumped up by US$ 10/ton and secured at US$ 865/ton in the last week, an improvement of 1.17 per cent as compared to the previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices soared by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 830/ton in the last week, an enhancement of 1.22 per cent over the previous week.
Meanwhile in Korea, average prices dropped down by US$ 5/ton and finalised at US$ 860/ton in the last week, after a decrease of 0.58 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week due to unfavorable market conditions.
