Description : Crumb's nastiest character almost looks cute in this winking pose. This was part of a set of three( see also "Mr. Natural" and "Smelly Old Cat" ). This may look superficially like a "cloissonnè" pin( where enamel is melted between crude metal outlines ) but it is not. The detailed image is silkscreened on metal for much greater clarity than cloissonnè. It is then covered with a thick, curved clear-coat. The pin is mounted on a card with color Crumb art and foam backing in a clear snap case.
