Craft Village co-founder designs PPE for doctors, cops
17 Jun 20 1 min read
Somesh Singh, co-founder of Craft Village, has designed CoValor21, a protective gear for doctors and policemen that has in-built fragrance for de-stressing and an embedded chip and detachable audio enhancers to allow listening and talking without the need to sanitise mobile phones. In the police model, folding helmets can be flattened and shipped anywhere.
The police version also has glow-in-dark prints that will be visible in dark areas in case anyone is seeking help, Singh told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
The footwear is made out of the patented cement fabric, which looks like faux leather or rubber. The perfume in the fabric will withstand at least 40-50 washes.
