Colortone Garments gets nod for new apparel unit in India's Odisha

- The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority of India's Odisha state recently approved 11 industrial projects in several sectors, including textiles and apparel and renewable energy, worth nearly ₹3,266 crore at its 119th meeting.
- Colortone Garments Pvt Ltd, will set up an integrated apparel manufacturing facility with an investment of over ₹200 crore.
The meeting was chaired by state chief secretary Pradeep K Jena.
The projects will be set up in Balasore, Bolangir, Kalhandi, Khurda and Jajpur districts, according to media reports from the state.
Colortone Garments Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of First Steps Baby-Wear, will set up an integrated apparel manufacturing facility with an investment of over ₹200 crore, offering employment to over 4,800.
IDVB Recycling Operations Pvt Ltd will set up a unit of recycled PET flakes and recycled PET resin products having an annual capacity of 63,000 MT, with an investment of ₹318 crore. The project will employ over 240.
