Fusing style and function in outdoor clothing, Roseville, Minnesota-based Kelvin Techstyles strives for a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor comfort. Overcoming everyday challenges, the company is working hard in order to bring heated clothing to each and every household. Its designs are versatile for an enhanced urban experience.

"We walk the fine line between fashion and technology and try to design products that are stylish and functional. We did not pioneer this technology, but we will be known for bringing it to the world. We try to keep everyday challenges in mind and want to make the lives of Kelvin users better," company co-founder Peter Netzel told Fibre2Fashion.

Built with comfort and style in mind, Kelvin technical wear maintains warmth in the most severe conditions while maintaining a sleek and slim profile. "Our market is huge. We are looking to take this technology across the world.  Whether it is a young professional who wants to be warm while commuting to work, or the mom and dad who want to be comfortable and cozy watching a soccer match, there are many lifestyles that would love our technology," said Netzel.

Kelvin Techstyles has been producing fashion-engineered outerwear and accessories for a worldwide clientele since 2016. It is constantly working towards delivering value to the consumer by providing an aesthetically forward approach to technologically advanced heating solutions.

"We believe in sustainability just as much as you. Thus, we take specific steps in the sourcing of materials to provide a sustainable product. Additionally, we look to utilise heated clothing as a platform to limit the use of disposable hand warmers. Finally, by taking the bulk out of clothing, the weight of fabric is reduced and overall textile consumption is minimised," added Netzel.

The company expects revenue to double or triple in the next two fiscals. It is in the process of introducing three new models in 2018. (RR)
