Gordon Brothers, through its Canadian division Gordon Brothers Canada, and Hilco Global, through its Canadian division Merchant Retail Solutions, were recently retained to conduct store closing sales for Montreal-headquartered fashion company Le Château Inc. A Québec court allowed the company to proceed with the sale of its assets and wind down operations.
Meanwhile, Le Château customers can take advantage of discounts of up to 40 per cent on apparel, shoes, boots and accessories. Jewellery is being sold at 40 per cent discount, while all dresses and handbags at 30 per cent, said a press release from the company.
During the liquidation process, the company will remain fully operational, and physical stores are expected to remain open in conformity with provincial and regional guidelines. Customers can take advantage of the sale at lechateau.com as well.
Le Château manufactures exclusively designed apparel, footwear and accessories for contemporary and style-conscious women and men, with an extensive network of 121 prime locations across Canada and an e-com platform servicing Canada and the United States.
