In association with Lakme Academy, Delhi Fashion Club (DFC) launched in Mumbai recently with an initiative ‘Fashion for Change’ which promotes sustainable fashion, khadi and women empowerment. DFC started with a calendar shoot in Mumbai with 2 celebrity designers Ashfaque Ahmed (Delhi) and Arjun Kumar (Mumbai) and gen-next designers including Omendra Gautam.

Styling was done by celebrity fashion director Harshit Dhingaun, who is also the chairman of Delhi Fashion Club. Photography was done by Tezas Mahadik and models were Reshma Kaurase and Namrata Sharma, who shot in khadi and sustainable fashion gowns. Model Wijaidin Pamai from Nagaland shot in sustainable clothes at Marine Drive beach in Mumbai by team DFC. Make up was sponsored by Lakme Academy.

Previously, DFC has worked with various international fashion weeks across the nation as fashion partner, consultant and done show direction and designers management. They have also promoted many models and designers with a theme ‘Local to global Khadi’ and sustainable fashion.

DFC is a government appreciated fashion management and creative association which is achieving big name in fashion industry with services like show direction, shoots, designers promotion, fashion styling, consultancy, celebrity management, personality grooming, model management and 360 degree PR promotions. DFC will act as bridge to connect Delhi and Mumbai fashion industry for exchange of fashion goods and services, helping the economy to boost up. DFC is also planning to give opportunities to fashion entrepreneurs to be City wise representative in other main cities of the country to get benefits with DFC’s brand appeal and also giving  great experience to local fashion lovers.
