The product mix of Kanpur-based store Amiraah comprises casualwear, Indo-Western, ethnic, resort wear, western wear, everyday wearable sustainable fashion, couture and bridalwear, according to founder Pooja Gupta, who said the percentages of each of these categories differ according to their viability, the margins and the visibility of the brand or designer.
Western-wear, bridal wear, and couture are the top-performing categories, she said.
The store gets orders from everywhere across India, but most come from metropolitan cities. The United States, Canada and Dubai are its major markets abroad, she told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
