Asian ethylene prices rise last week

Ethylene prices went up in Asia in the last week due to higher upstream energy values in the region.
In Korea, average prices stepped up by US$ 45/ton and quoted at US$ 1285/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a gain of 3.63 per cent.
In Japan, average prices inched higher by US$ 45/ton and assessed at US$ 1280/ton in the last week, a jump of 3.64 per cent compared to previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices improved by US$ 25/ton and quoted at US$ 1200/ton in the last week, an advancement of 2.13 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In NE Asia, average prices soared by US$ 30/ton and secured at US$ 1315/ton in the last week, registering a lift of 2.33 per cent from the previous week.
