Bucharest-based INCDTP working on collagenic biomaterials

Nano-structured materials and hybrids; fibres for thermal regulation, insect protection and stress management; advanced insulating materials; and collagenic biomaterials for medical application are some research areas of the National Research & Development Institute for Textiles and Leather (INCDTP) in Bucharest, says its general director Carmen Ghituleasa.
The institute holds 109 national patents and patent applications and four European patent applications, Ghituleasa told Fibre2Fashion in an interview. (DS)
