Ethylene prices decrease in Europe last week

Ethylene prices marched lower in Europe in the last week due to soft cues from the Asian region.

In Europe, average prices plunged by US$ 35/ton and assessed at US$ 1190/ton in the last week, after a decline of 2.86 per cent over the previous week.
 
Meanwhile, In the US average prices inched higher by 2 cents/pound and secured at 18 cents/pound in the last week, showing a gain of 12.50 per cent as compared to the previous week despite lower upstream energy values in the region.
