Shinta Indah Jaya to focus on increasing market share

Shinta Inda Jayah, manufacturer of quality knitted fabrics, will be focusing on increasing its market share in Indonesia. The company plans to adopt a three-pronged approach that includes improving productivity through modernising machinery and equipment, strengthening research and development to enhance the customer experience and capacity expansion.

“Shinta Indah Jaya is expected to be on a new growth trajectory over the next five years, marked by steady capacity expansion. We aim to increase our market share within Indonesia through the growing and deepening of existing business relationships and formation of new partnerships,” said Stacey Hermijanto, CEO of Shinta Indah Jaya, while speaking to Fibre2Fashion.

She said that the company plans to concentrate on the sportswear and athleisure segments of the apparel market. Through intensified and strengthened R&D, Shinta Indah Jaya will also have a renewed focus on the development of technical and performance fabrics. The firm is also looking to grow its market presence globally.

The company believes in staying abreast of the latest trends in the textile industry. “We stay in close contact with our machinery suppliers as well as our customers, constantly sharing information on the latest technology available as well as the latest trends in the downstream industries. We actively attend textile exhibitions around the world to get first-hand information from different markets. We subscribe to various online publications to keep abreast with the relevant industry news,” added Hermijanto.

Sportswear and athleisure are the targeted market segments of the company. Its full product line encompasses a wide range of circular, warp and flat knitted polyester and nylon fabrics for the garment, footwear, lamination, toy and audio equipment industries. (KD)
