- In October 2023, UK clothing imports dropped to £1.475 billion, a 38.97 per cent year-on-year decrease.
- Textile fabric and fibre imports also declined. Total clothing imports in 2022 reached £21.255 billion, up 23.50 per cent from 2021.
- Clothing exports in October 2023 fell to £312 million, with an overall decline in 2022 exports compared to 2021.
