Germany's exports to non-EU nations fall 9.6% MoM in Dec '22: Destatis

Germany’s exports to countries outside the European Union (third countries) declined by a calendar and seasonally adjusted 9.6 per cent in December 2022, compared with November 2022, according to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). In December 2022, Germany exported goods to the value of €56.3 billion to third countries, on a seasonally and calendar-adjusted basis.

The country’s exports to countries outside the European Union were up by 6.5 per cent in December 2022, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

Moreover, exports of goods from Germany to third countries in their original values in December 2022 increased by 6.7 per cent compared to December 2021, totalling €57.2 billion, as per Destatis.
