22nd Oct, 2007 to 26th Oct, 2007 at Izmir, Turkey The 66th Plenary Meeting of the ICAC since 1939 will be held during 22-26 October 2007 in Izmir. The Organizing Committee has hired a professional events management firm to assist with logistics, hotel reservations and arrangements for the social program. The Governor and Mayor of the Izmir Region are supporting the Organizing Committee in ensuring a successful meeting. The theme of the 66th Plenary Meeting proposed by the Organizing Committee is, “Strategies for National Competitiveness.” Open sessions will be planned on topics related to development of successful national cotton textile and garment industries and successful programs to increase national cotton production.
