28th Sep, 2009 to 2nd Oct, 2009 at NCSU College of Textiles, Raleigh, United States Of America Developing Fabric Properties for Knits and Wovens is going to be held at NCSU College of Textiles from Sep 28 - Oct 02, 2009. If you are involved with fabric development, sourcing or merchandising of fabrics this course is for you. Program content is segmented to cover knits and wovens separately. Instruction is scheduled for 2.5 days for each fabric type so you can select either Knits or Wovens or both. The mechanics of knitting and weaving will be reviewed, followed by detailed information on selecting fibers, yarns and fabric types for developing specific products. Fabric designs and associated fabric properties will also be discussed.
