The year 2018 represented a record year for Delta Galil Industries, highlighted by strong sales, EBITDA, and net income, according to Isaac Dabah, CEO of Delta Galil. The sales growth primarily reflected strength in Delta Galil USA, Delta Galil Premium Brands, Delta European Brands (including Eminence starting the third quarter) and Delta Israel.

“During the year, we focused on consolidating the acquired Eminence Group and incorporating its brands Eminence, Athena and Liabel within the Delta Galil business. Additionally, going forward we are leveraging Eminence as a growth vehicle to expand our distribution of Delta Galil’s core products,” said Dabah while commenting on the company’s 2018 financial performance. “Looking ahead, we will continue to grow both organically and through accretive acquisitions to drive sustained profitable growth and long-term shareholder value.”

As a global manufacturer and marketer of branded and private label apparel products, Delta Galil’s sales increased 10 per cent to $1,498 billion for 2018 full year ended December 31, 2018, from $1,368 billion for 2017 full year. This huge increase in sales was supported by a 22 per cent jump in Q4 sales to $454.3 million from $371.6 million in Q4 2017.

The full-year sales of the company in 2019 are expected to range between $1.550-$1.590 billion, representing an increase of 3-6 per cent from 2018 actual sales of $1.498 billion. The full-year 2019 net income is expected to range between $64-$67 million, representing an increase of 5-12 per cent from 2018 actual net income of $60 million, the Israel-based company said. (PC)
