- Asia-Pacific, the top leather footwear producing region, is expected to see modest growth, with production rising to 4,116 million pairs by 2028, a 5.37 per cent increase from 2020.
- Non-traditional countries (in terms of leather footwear), despite a small global share, are set to grow the fastest at 15.98 per cent, reaching 80.22 million pairs by 2028.
