Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven recently assured Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina during a phone call that his country will not cancel any readymade garments order placed in Bangladesh. Export-oriented garment factories have been opened maintaining compliance with all health and sanitary regulations, Hasina reportedly told Lofven.

Hasina reassured him that Bangladesh could fulfil orders from global buyers despite the novel coronavirus outbreak, according to Bangla media reports.

During the 15-minute conversation, the two leaders discussed trade and business issues, particularly the readymade garments sector.
