The current top hat trends for women are fedoras, berets and bucket styles, while for both men and children, the trends are fedoras, flat caps and bucket styles, according to Don Rongine, president and CEO of the Bollman Hat Company based in Adamstown, Pennsylvania, whose revenues rose by 12 per cent over the last year. The firm anticipates continued growth.
For the first time, the company has created The Bollman Hat Company branded makers' collection, which consists of 12 men's and 12 women's hats and is named after 24 Bollman Hat employee-owners who each have 35 years or more of service, Rongine told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
