Kenneth Cole & Lanier Clothes to launch men's tailored clothing

Kenneth Cole Productions Inc announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with Lanier Clothes, a division of Oxford Industries Inc, to produce men's tailored clothing in the United States.
Beginning with the Fall 2007 season, Lanier Clothes will produce and distribute tailored clothing under the KENNETH COLE NEW YORK, KENNETH COLE REACTION and UNLISTED, A KENNETH COLE PRODUCTION labels.
Doug Jakubowski, President Kenneth Cole Reaction Brand and Design Services, said, "I believe there is tremendous growth opportunity for us in the tailored clothing category. I am confident that the sales and sourcing expertise of Lanier will contribute significantly to our continued efforts to serve our customers' tailored needs."
The collections will consist of suits, suit separates, sportcoats, trousers and rainwear to be sold nationwide within tailored clothing departments at major retail department stores and select specialty stores. Each label will appeal to fashion-conscious consumers who want the casual urban perspective and lifestyle uniquely associated with Kenneth Cole.
