Asian ethylene prices inch down last week

Ethylene prices marched lower in Asia in the last week due to bearish regional buying interest.
 
In Korea, average prices moved down by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 1390/ton in the last week, as compared to the previous week, a decrement of 0.36 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices edged lower by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 1385/ton in the last week, a drop of 0.36 per cent from the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices fell by US$ 5/ton and recorded at US$ 1270/ton in the last week, a reduction of 0.39 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices shrunk by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 1355/ton in the last week, registering a declination of 1.09 per cent as compared to the previous week.
