Benzene prices shrink in US last week

Benzene prices inched lower in the US in the last week due to bearish regional buying trends.
In the US, average prices plunged by 10 cents/gallon and secured at 280 cents/gallon in the last week, a reduction of 3.45 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
Meanwhile, In Europe average prices declined by US$ 25/ton and settled at US$ 840/ton in the last week, a fall of 2.89 per cent as compared to the previous week due to softer cues from the Asian region.
