Ethylene prices stepped up in Europe in the last week due to insufficient product availability in the region.

In Europe, average prices surged by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 1130/ton in the last week, a rise of 0.44 per cent, as compared to the previous week.

Meanwhile in US, average prices remained firm and recorded at 28 cents/pound in the last week, as compared to previous week due to moderate product demand in the region.
