Fabric, color, and material forecast is a serious business. Colors, textures, shapes and motifs play a crucial role in shaping the forthcoming trends. They have a considerable influence in the overall appearance of the apparel, and manipulate the fashion trends. Fashion is now undergoing a drastic change with richness and creativity which was unobserved previously. Nature drives the designers inspiration, creativity and progress. Themes of nature gain the spotlight in the fashion world, and make their way into the seasons favorite garments. Intimate shades bring a dreamy mood, with the elements of nature transposed and sublimated.

Two palettes co-exist for the season. Bold colors still hold strong, with bright saturated colors are catching up with the fad. Zesty lemon, orange and lime shades will be seen splashed on womens attire. Yellow will gain position as a stand-alone color. Dark shady and inky tones give an electrifying touch to the color palette. Along with it, neutrals from dusty landscapes, ocher green to colors of enamel also make themselves known with new, lively textures. Earthy and nature inspired colors will give an appealing look with a comfortable combination of relaxed and eco friendly living. White, gray and taupe shades are also seen in the winters palette.

Hues of pale pink will give a 'gentleman look' even to the toughest lad in town. Classic shades of carmel and olive will make an inevitable part of the mens wardrobe. Black, and silver gray shades will be seen mainly while white will be the dominating color of the year.

The whimsy 18th century look will make a comeback will lacy skirts. Animal prints, rustic carvings, and bold geometric patterns and floral prints dominate the show. Afar the floral prints, flower prints will emerge in 3D pattern. Stripes will have its own creative applications. Wide stripes, discreet bankers stripes, spotted chalk stripes will be seen in clothing; especially in men's suits.

Checks and flowers will be seen in waist coats, tapered pants and hunting jackets. Prince of Wales checks, big checks, and Harris tweed will make a masculine note. Puffy quilting, regular, embossed and blistered quilting, articulated thermo formed textures with graphic and photo prints will be regarded as a fashion forward outfit.
