C. R. Prayag

C. R. Prayag is presently working in Ahmedabad Textile Industry’s Research Association (ATIRA) at Ahmedabad as Deputy Director & Head, Mechanical Processing Spinning and Weaving Divisions. He has done his B.Tech.(Textile) from A C College, Chennai and M.Text. from V.J.Technical Institue, Mumbai.

He has worked in the R&D wing in Century Textiles & Industries Ltd., Mumbai for six years before joining ATIRA at its Regional Centre at Indore. There he was incharge for twelve years. He was promoted to the head office at Ahmedabad, where he has been working for the past five years.

His main areas of work include carrying out R&D projects and providing technical consultancy and training programmes. His field of specialization is quality and process control. He is also the Quality Manager of ATIRA Testing laboratories, which are accredited for the IS-17025:2005 standard by the NABL.
