Archroma to empower Pak textile women entrepreneurs

Specialty chemicals producer Archroma has signed an agreement with Ethical Affair, to provide training, skills development and technical assistance to women entrepreneurs in the Pakistan textile industry. Women entrepreneurs will be provided a tool kit in areas such as technical know how pertaining to textiles from initial to the final stage.

Apart from this, Archroma will offer international textile market features, sustainability development, or understanding cost and value creation for local and foreign markets.

Archroma will play a pivotal role to impart technical know-how, training and re-training through active platform of Ethical Affair.

"Empowering women entrepreneurs to enter into the mainstream will certainly add value coupled with creativity for the textile industry," Mujtaba Rahim, CEO of Archroma Pakistan said. "Women are already taking initiatives in establishing their own businesses especially in the last five years and only need technical training and hands on experience."
