“For decades, the Hohenstein Institute has stood for textile competence, independence and neutrality”, Markus Beeh from the Certification Centre said.
“In this respect, developing the Certification Centre for Management Systems as an extension to our portfolio was a logical step for us,” he added.
“In this way, customers can be sure that within their company, the requirement for process orientation is evaluated reliably and with the highest level of expertise,” Beeh explained.
As of date, over one million companies around the world have already successfully achieved certification in accordance with ISO 9001.
And over 260,000 companies and organisations around the world have already achieved the environmental management standard ISO 14001 certification, a trend which is increasing significantly.
“More and more, this additional certification is a standard requirement within the framework of regional and national, as well as international tenders,” the institute stated.
“In addition, many customers demand transparency and accountability, particularly within operational environmental management,” it informed.
Markus Beeh even sees great potential for the textile sector and further added that the inclusion of these quality and environmental principles in company policies offers the chance to successfully position in the global market. (AR)
