Invista, Arvind show denim trends at Festive 2018

Invista in association with Arvind showcased new brands and exclusive denim trends at Festive 2018 that concluded recently. The collection 'Gravity' highlighted the most desired features of a modern-day denim taking inspiration from the most powerful force on our planet. The presentation revolved around providing high on comfort denims for the Indian market.

The Festive 2018 collection featured a line of popular Arvind Denims like Boomerang, Mutants, 2.0 (an upgraded version of the popular line), Azurite, Neo Cord and Fusion.

Invista highlighted the Coolmax EcoMade technology which is being introduced to the Indian market in partnership with Arvind. The Invista zone also showcased how well recognised Lycra fibre brand is and what consumers think and how they react when they see a garment with Lycra brand hangtag. The zone also highlighted other Invista technologies which are more popular with the brands in India and was very well explained through the technology videos.

This time the guest for the event was Rebecca.Y.Li from Invista who is the commercial director, Rest Of Asia, Apparel. She talked about the partnership with Arvind and how it is creating value for both the stakeholders as well as the associated brands and value chain partners.

Arvind and Invista have been synonymous in the industry for bringing out innovative technologies for the better life of consumers. All Arvind stretch denims are powered by Lycra fibre and also include other Invista specialty technologies and products like Coolmax Core technology core, Coolmax All Season technology, Lycra dualFX technology, Lycra Shaping technology, as well as sustainability related concepts like Coolmax EcoMade technology, Lycra T400 EcoMade technology and a few more. These products with their strong performance properties provide a set of unique comfort and durability to the garments – a deeply desired feature by the end consumers," Invista press release said.

This season, Arvind focused upon its core belief of an indigo inspired lifestyle and shared some services and trend inspiration during the show. There was a pattern making workshop to sensitise the makers on handling stretch fabrics and answering to their queries. The event was well attended by leading brands, traders and other relevant value chain members and ended with a compelling fashion show. (RR)
