Manila Bay to produce A&E sewing threads in Philippines

Sewing thread manufacturer American & Efird (A&E) has appointed Philippines based Manila Bay Thread Corporation as a new licensee, thereby strengthening its position in Southeast Asia. Manila Bay will produce as well as market various A&E brands, in one of the biggest apparel exporting countries in the world and an important market for A&E.
Founded in 1956, Manila Bay Thread Corporation is a leading thread producer in the Philippines, serving a wide variety of customers in the apparel, leather goods, and non-apparel categories.
A&E is the largest US manufacturer and the world's second-largest manufacturer and distributor of premium quality industrial and consumer sewing thread, embroidery thread and technical textiles.
