With the aim of improving the quality, increase technology and ensure adherence to international standards of Chinese garment enterprises, the China National Garment Association (CNGA) will carry out an inspection on all the suit producing companies every two years.
In fact an investigation is already taking place on suit production enterprises of China starting from May 12 to July 10, 2008.
Suits for both men and women will be tested by the association, especially those made from wool, mixed wool, chemical wool and certain other fabrics.
Randomly selected, these garments will be sent to China National Garment Association and after testing each will be divided into four categories namely; excellent, good, qualified and unqualified products.
To ensure that the future dispatches of goods have a fair quality, the association will also conduct training sessions about the techniques and manufacturing skills of suits for the production enterprises.
