The underlying inflation indicator climbed 0.1 percent month-on-month and 0.9 percent year-on-year (stability and +0.9 percent respectively in October).

In November, the decrease of overall index mainly resulted from a drop in prices of energy and particularly of petroleum products.

Rises in prices of fresh produce and of actual rentals, water supply and refuse collection limited the consumer price index decrease.

Other movements were less contributing : increases in prices of foodstuffs except fresh produce, of health services ; falls in prices of other services, of transport and communication, of clothing and footwear and of health products.
