The symposium titled 'How Technology is Implemented Across the Globe to Increase Productivity in the Apparel Industry' will be held at Texprocess Americas on May 3, 2016 from 11.30 AM to 1 PM in Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta.
Gribbin, who is also a member of the board of directors at IAF, will be joined by other IAF members during the course of the symposium. He will provide a unique perspective to the discussion.
Commenting on his point of view with respect to the topic, Gribbin said, “From our aerial perspective of worldwide industry operations, we see the need for greater productivity, speed and efficiency – both regionally and by market sector.”
“Technology can effectively increase productivity in the apparel world, but only if integrated with appropriate people and process strategy. Unfortunately, in many sectors, technology-based productivity lags behind,” he said.
“At the symposium panel, we will explore how and why some new technologies can be leveraged to fuel productivity on a global basis,” he added. (MCJ)
